Remember him saying that when he was doing the Grand Tour he was obviously away a lot. When he got home his wife/daughters ignored him as they were going about their own lives which he wasn't part of. So he retreated to his garage. Can see how that would upset a man.

Maybe they've just grown apart - they're clearly wealthy enough to establish their own lives.

Sad none the less.

Could be lots of reasons. The cynic in me says it could be her cashing out but then they've been through loads together. It's probably more likely now he's home a lot more it's highlighting things they don't like in each other. Is quite sad though as splits often are. Hope he keeps custody of Oliver.

As I read down this thread, it gets more saddening to read. I suppose that's the problem with working away from home so much. You think they are having so much fun making those programmes but it does affect life back at home. I suppose his daughters must have felt a bit abandoned.
