As her present job involves more extensive travel, now would seem a good time to get satnav. As we have a number of vehicles, a portable system would seem the best way forward and the general consensus of PHers suggests Tomtom is the best system.
Apart from the European maps, I gather that the main difference between the 300 and the 500 is the ability to use be used as a handsfree system for ones mobile phone.
Does anyone who's had experience of these systems think the 500 is worth the extra £100 to £120 given that there are other cheaper handsfree options?
