Will somebody please shut him up?

He wrote some great songs but he couldn't perform them for sh*t.

This bloody show has been going on since I got home at about 9 (I can hear it in the other room). Why the need for two hours worth of documentary on Bob Dylan!

Great song writer and poet. Helped shape the 60s and hence the presnt day and influenced hundreds of singer/songwriters and millions of ordinary folk.

Other than that, I don't rate him.

It's the truth - most Dylan songs are SO much better done by other people. He wrote great songs, but couldn't sing for toffee...

Whilst he was never a true "singer" his voice took a real dive when he broke his neck. Was never the same after that.

Janis Joplin couldn't hit a note to save her life, but I still rate her as one of the best singers ever.
Same with Joe Cocker .. can't carry a tune in a bucket. Sensational singer though.

A few modern types can't hit a damn note either and are rated highly, though God knows why compared to teh masterclass above .. katie melua and jamie cullum to name just two with bags more money than soul.

I rate Dylan very highly .. there's more to singing than carrying a tune .. nobody does dylan like dylan

Never been interested in him since he gave Keith Richards a load of crap following the success of Satisfaction. Little mans syndrome.

Hmmmmn. How old do you have to be to like Bob Dylan? I think I am always going to be ten years too young...

Errrr: "Never trust a hippie!"

How on earth did John Lydon move from being Johnny Rotten to being a grand old man of rock?

The film clips of his many, many influences were good though.

Was a lot of Clancy Bros. footage in there, which surprised me.
