Looking for a quick large hatchback/mini SUV with a boot big enough for two medium sized dogs (beagles). Can stretch up to about £17k, been looking at a 2014 GLA45 AMG so keen to know what people’s experiences of them have been but are there any other decent alternatives out there, potentially cheaper to run than the Merc?

I’m not really looking for anything too big (estates included), I’ve always been a hot hatch guy. Also keen on an auto, but would consider a manual if it’s the right kind of thing. Any suggestions? smile
