Hi all, I'm looking for advice on what motor to get next after selling my f80 m3. My budget is 50k max and would preferably like something with a bit of power and sound again but ideally no less than 350bhp. I know it is a very generic list of requirements but I am open to all suggestions.

For the time being I'm rolling in a 2k corsa d, oh how the mighty have fallen ha.

New M3 or M4 would be very high up the list I reckon.

I’m in similar predicament and Giulia Quadrifoglio is currently coming out top for me…

Finding the right one is a very different matter given the lack of a decent dealer network so they’re pretty much all sold independently.

If you don't need back seats, then I'd look for more of a sports car, maybe

Lotus Evora

Mercedes AMG GT

Audi R8 V10 (mk1)

911 Carrera S

If you are a BMW fan, have a look at the M340i. I’ve had my Touring for over a year now and in the “real world” of today’s roads, it does virtually everything your M3 did, plus it’s quieter, you can get dogs, golf clubs, shotguns, rubbish for the tip etc in the back without a problem. Your £50k should get you a nicely specced car and 40+ mpg on longer trips and a (limited) 155mph if you fancy a trip to Germany.

Left field options:

Porsche Taycan (no noise, but pretty cool cars, let’s see if they continue to depreciate like a brick though)
Alfa Romeo Giulia/ Stelvio with the 2.9 V6
Mercedes AMG GT

Is the F90 M5 down that low yet? I had one a few years back, totally nuts. Pre GPF version better imho.
