It’s OK saying it’s on here and I am sure there is a thread for everything you can think of but a picture paints a thousand words. Nothing beats hands on and a helpful first hand guide who’s got the knowledge of years of experience would be a fantastic start for a long term relationship with a car. Remember a small problem is a massive one if you do not know what your looking at or looking for.
And yes a guide to driving would not go amiss. Not saying that a TVR is hard to drive but you cannot just jump in and do whatever you did in a mini. I am no means an expert driver for that asking somebody who’s got experience when things go wrong would be more than helpful.
The TVRCC etc would be a great start but a day or two of paid time would be money well spent and in the long run money well saved.

Most 'knowledge' is gained during ownership of the car. Problems will arise at some point or another, and most owners then use these forums to try and sort it. Some of those problems are likely to be something only a good Indie or dealer can sort out. I doubt there are more than a hand full of owners here, who really know their cars inside and out, but simple things, such as knowing how to check your oil and fluid levels, and knowing what 'essential' spares to carry in your boot, are far more useful in early ownership, than being able to perform for example a service!

Not into serving etc as this is for the experts out there. A good day with somebody explaining suspension settings and how they effect the car would be great. I have read threads where owners have dabbled with their cars only to end up wishing thay had not. The TVR BIBLE would be a great start if I new where to get it from.

Standard Cerbera suspension is not very adustable, so if you want to consider making suspension adjustments, then speaking to someone such as Joos at Track Car Solutions about an upgrade, would be the answer. www.track-car-solutions.co.uk/
