Family member using our address while travelling abroad
Discussion
Other half's brother is recently single, and has been staying at ours for a couple of weeks. Looks like everything is done and dusted relationship-wise, and he's now talking about travelling for a few months.
He wants to change all his documents and accounts to our address while he's gone, so any mail comes to us and not his ex.
Is there any reason not to allow this?
Obviously, credit scoring might be one of them, anything else I need to be aware of?
Thanks in advance

Can't he use a PO box or does he need mail occasionally opening to verify something etc.
I'll second a PO box, although my experience is as a helper to a recently divorced woman with no home. She took a job in Germany. We had access to letters and would describe the exteriors to her on weekly phone calls. She asked us to forward ones that took her interest. These included those from her husband's solicitors. She occasionally asked us to post letters at the Brighton central post office. We received a threatening letter, although the penalty was not made clear, from hubby's brief, but this too was forwarded to the woman and they didn't try that again.
In essence, no problem. It was good to help. The bloke was a bully.
