Hi can anyone recommend a car for a friend who's looking for something small , easy to park just for short journeys but a bit fun .

I can only think of the Abarth 500/595

Budgets up to 5/6k

Something newish , doesn't matter if manual or auto any small hatch but with a decent engine. Something that won't be as nickable as a fiesta ST

Thanks 🙏

Peugeot 208 GTI.

1200kg, 200hp, good looking and decent interior.

Also good reliability.

MiTo Cloverleaf is a good shout, but I'd be going with the Abarth 500, I've owned both and they were great, but the 500 is such a fun car, it puts a smile on your face even when not driving hard.

As much as the 208 and the swift are great cars, better than the 500 in many ways, they lack the character of the Italians. Something that's worth having in a small fun car.

Abarth 500c, convertibles add more fun

Up! GTI? Polo gti a bit bigger but more fiesta size

Corsa VXR? punto abarth? Ibiza cupra? Fabia VRS?
Clio sport?

130i? Or an old bmw compact?

Mx5 if you don’t need rear seats?

Can’t think of any more in the city car category really.
