Have been considering a MY performance for a while’s and looking at costs etc. anyway a white ex demo popped up for what I think is a good deal so I put the £200 deposit on it. So it’s 11 months old demonstrator 3k miles for £53,300 BUT because classes as ‘new’ and not used Tesla offer the PCH on it with 0% finance bla bla which they don’t offer if classified as used
So 10.000 miles and 3 years it PCH is £5,300 and £412 per month. This is vs a new one £60,000 same terms £6,150 and £499 per month. Seems like a good deal to me but still sitting on the fence ! Partially because wasn’t really sure if I wanted to go Tesla and secondly I would have preferred black vs white !
Thanks in advance

I went a Tesla Model 3 LR and honestly it is best car I’ve ever lived with.

No problems owning another Tesla and personally find it better than its rivals from Audi, BMW or Merc.

Did you try the performance upgrade. It has a refund within 48 hrs once.

I did and haven’t looked back.

I do feel as though it would have been better to have a chill sport and turbo mode. Now I just have chill or Performance or whatever it is. Anecdotally inthink the turbo/perf mode reduced the mileage max by 30 miles. But that could just be down to how I drive it.

I weirdly have no interest in the Performance upgrade as actually find the LR spot on power wise. I was originally going the Performance model but wasn’t worth the few £k extra I found which has meant I haven’t bothered.

I do think £1500 is a little greedy as well from Tesla.

Spent the money on Michelin Cross Climate 2s instead and I’m actually pretty happy and content with the car.

At face value that seems good for performance. I’m not a fan of paying big up front tho - if its 0% why not just pay more monthly.

I think you can pay more upfront - just need to adjust the structure

what colour did you go for ? I’m only going performance due to the 21” wheels, spoiler and painted calipers which does set the car apart in my opinion

If I understand correctly you can end up losing that money in the event of a write-off. So gaap insurance needed.

The less I had over up front the better.

I went red.

I’m 2020 so the difference is only 18inch vs 20inch in alloys.

I do miss the better brakes of the P but and would like track mode as find the LR restrictive at times.

Big thing was I was coming from my M2 which I tracked to more of a daily car so the LRs extra comfort was perfect.

Based on that I would go LR, get the spoiler, and paint the callipers?

The performance cars actually get better brakes (Brembo) and more aggressive suspension as well
