After scouring autotrader for EV cars for the wife, she has taken a liking to the DS3 Crossback. We had a very quick look at one yesterday and all seems ok on the face of it. She's booking in a test drive for the weekend, but in the meantime I wondered if anyone had experience of these?
We watched a few reviews and the biggest complaint was the infotainment system being too clunky but this doesn't seem to phase her. I would be more tempted by an ID3 personally but she isn't a huge fan of the styling. We also looked at the Peugeot E2008, Mini, Golf E, but are there any more worth looking at? I suggested a Leaf but she hated it unfortunately. Budget around £13-14K up to 5 y/o.

The DS3 has the same platform and electric drivetrain as pretty much all the other Stellantis EVs (e20(0)8, Corsa, Mokka, e-C4 etc). So general issues with the others apply - the motorway range won't be great (120 or so miles in UK winter), and make sure the 'Electric Traction System Fault' recall has been completed.
The best range for the money in this budget are Hyundai Kona 64, and related Kia Niro and Soul I think. The Ioniq 38 could also be worth considering for a bit less. Early Model 3s also creep into budget.
The DS3 seems to be a little pricier than its platform-mates due to rarity, but if your wife likes it then I don't think there's any big reason not to.
