A friend of mine recently visited the halowed ground and found out exactly why its called the green hell... he drove out there in his pride and joy and he drove back to Koln airport in a hire car... enough said about that...
So I asked him what he did after he watched his car get loaded up and driven out of the paddock... and he said " I went to check out the other nurburg-ring" I quized him further and he said that the only way he knew how to make him self feel better was to visit the local "house of ill repute"...

Is he having a laugh or is there really a "nurburgring knocking shop"?

I'd heard there is a place in Adenau - but not sure if it was a wind up.

I've seen the Cheri Bar in Adenau, but never gone in. Is it a table/lap-dancing bar, or something else?

I believe it offers somewhat more than a lap dancing club!

Strictly in the interest of research, I visited the Cheri Bar last night. I can report that it is indeed a knocking shop.

The wares on offer include a rather attractive Eastern European girl with a good command of the English language and a fairly high pressure approach to sales. There was a tall brunette who was quite good looking and a very petite blonde, neither of whom were all that talkative. The barmaid/madam looks to be the teutonic version of Marianne Faithful.

According to a repeat customer, who treated his buddy to the tall brunette, and himself to girl number one, the petite blonde would be the second best choice.

Prices seemed to range from €120-200.

Beers were €6, and the girls seem to like small bottles of Sekt at €20 a pop.

I suppose that if one is in need of such services, it is good to know where to find them.

I think on the basis of research alone, that was a job well done, and should be applauded for it.

Good work. BTW who were you with

I'll name no names, but it appears one of our crew has taken up a position there to diversify their offerings to include those lads who prefer lads. I'm sure a proper announcement to this effect will be made in due time.

I believe this lad learned his trade in Amsterdam.

Yes that was an interesting expedition, maybe we should start a Michelin guide?

Maybe some do's and donts could also be helpfull:
- dont misbehave in front of the door but smile, you are on tele
- dont go lie in the couch if you like company
- dont expect the girls to guess where you are from
- dont guess to quickly where the talkative one comes from, her hints are interesting
- do ask for the blonde wig

EY

"DUREX" guide might be more appropriate.
