How do I fit this sink? (with pics)
Discussion
Hi All,
I'm stumped
I have this sink i'm looking to fit ontop of a 40mm thick worktop:

What's the usual way for securing something like this down? there's no fixings or anything on the reverse. Just the waste hole, and 2 small casting holes.
The waste fitting I have has a single black nut which I know you use to secure it directly to the sink to compress the seals etc.
Do I need to get from somewhere a 2nd, much larger diameter waste nut, to then bolt the assembled sink/waste down to the worktop? Because i'm not sure the waste threaded length would even be long enough to do that & still leave space to then screw on the Ubend part on the end.
I've never fitted a sink like this before & feel like i'm missing something fundamental

Big hole in the worktop, big enough to get something on that black nut later, and silicone to stick it down. Not too much - you ideally need to be able to run a blade under it to get it off the worktop if it cracks. Hardest bit will be sealing the back edge neatly if it’s not butted up against a splashback.
