Do we think Zeekr and Xiaomi are coming to the UK anytime soon?

The Zeekr 001 looks exciting (same platform as Lotus Eletre I read somewhere) and the Xiaomi SU7 and YU7 look excellent too. I see Zeekr are selling right hand drive models in Singapore, and Xiaomi also released pricing for the territory.

Xiaomi?

Aren't they part of BYD or something. Their car looks pretty much the same so I'm guessing would be a bit crazy to sell something so similar, to which no one is buying.

the way they will get around tariffs is to build factories and the likes of Starmer will not be able to stop it as it will bring thousands of jobs to areas, in 40 years you will all be driving Chinese made CARS

If they build the factories here, wouldn’t that make them UK-made cars?

I don't believe they are anything to do with BYD.

Slightly interesting fact, Chris Bangle is a consultant designer for Xiaomi.
