Would purple wheels put you off?

When we got it the wheels were tatty, all corroded so we had them refurbed. She liked a purple powdercoat with a holographic colour changing metalflake.
To avoid death or serious injury you need to let redheads have their own way.
Its £300 to put them back to silver.
Do you think the purple wheels might put buyers off enough to be worth 300 quid doing them again?

Will look a different car with silver/grey/black wheels and probably will appeal to a wider audience.
Seeing that reminds me of a 993 I replaced the windscreen on some time ago, in Amaranth Violet. It had colour coded wheels.

I suspect a lot of people won't even contemplate the hassle of getting their wheels refurbished, or even know what’s involved. Whether it will be worth it in terms of the sale price I don't know, but I would think it would be worth £300 to massively increase your chances of selling it at all.
I thought as much. She liked the colour, so we went with it. I liked bronze.
Will get them redone in silver
The rest of the car looks good. Since taking those i have wetsanded and polished the whole car and ceramic coated it, the paintwork is like a mirror now, so fresh plain silver wheels is probably the answer.
Not many of the plug in versions for sale, but our mileage is high so will probably have a limited market to begin with.
Luckily over the 4 and a half years it has been very reliable and cheap to run, so 300 on the wheels is worth it.
Bit confused at the edit? Where was i advertising the thing? It isnt even for sale right now just looking for advice and opinion before we do anything with it.

"Hassle" really! Most cars you buy these days need the alloys refurbed, all id be doing is if the car was good value, ask for the £300 off to refurb them.
The art of communication is dead with some of these replies.
Its a car, we have different tastes. Whats a few days for the wheels to be sorted back to "prestine" condition.....

I know plenty of people who wouldn't be able to be without their cars for 2-3 weekdays without making specific arrangements. Not powerfully built directors at all, just normal people with one car, a job and a family.

Didnt anticipate to keep it so long and putting so many miles on it, but it is a great allrounder. Its just an attention magnet and a b
