I asked this a few months back https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
In the end I got a £90 JL pillow: https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-natural-colle...

The wool room, british wool pillows. They are hypoallergenic and even people allergic to wool can use them, can buy new stuffing when needed to top up, long-lasting and sustainable
Not a fan of their pillows. Duvets are ace, really thin and light but so warm. Like their mattress toppers as well.
Best pillow I had was a down pillow from John Lewis. Had a fluffy outside and a more densely packed core and was soft and supportive at the same time. Probably worth a visit so you can cop a feel of their pillows on display.
Mrs likes memory foam pillows and uses a water pillow for support to read in bed.
So it’s largely a matter of preference.
