I can tell you where not to stay - The Eurostars Asta Regia. By far the worst hotel in Spain that we've stayed in. The room, the breakfast, the smell, the staff - all dire.
The sherry tour was very interesting. We went on the Gonzalez Byass one and if I achieved nothing else, I can now pronounce that correctly.
We weren't that impressed with Jerez TBH. I went on a long solo trek in search of an Irish Bar (the default place to find a TV showing either F1 or 6 nations) and apart from the central square, the town is entirely lacking in charm. Cadiz looked much more promising, but on a weekend in June the beaches were completely mobbed.
