I cant be the only one who beats himself around the head with beer bottles till he passes out, can I?

(refering to clubbing and drinking. Why cant I pace myself. I just cant do it)
Without fail, I always end up with a severe hangover. Friends taunt me with pics of me passed out on trains, in clubs, flowerbeds, restaurant gardens etc. It must be amazing for the folk who are capable of tapping into that mystical force field called moderation

Tis the morning after which gets me. And the afternoon. I usually need 36 hours to recover fully.

Its age mate. Saturday just gone, my plan to go to the C.R.E.A.M event was scuppered when my Friday night out wit' lads pushed boundaries beyond recognition.

The consumption was beyond sensibleness and the mixture of different drinks was a recipe for illness and sadness on the Saturday.

Binge drinking? I wish I could restrict myself to this label but I'm afraid we invented a new category on Friday night. Flatline drinking would be more apt.

Pint of milk before bed. It works a treat. You wake up with at worst a mild hangover and no headache.

I always take pain killers before bed. (Unless I'm THAT drunk)

A few glasses of water before going to bed usually does the trick!

Praps us flatliners (who dont recall getting home, let alone going to bed) should leave pizzas on the kitchen counter, soaking in milk and paracetmol, which we would undoubtedly eat the moment we walked through the door.

Best hangover cure that I've found:

Pint of water with one Berocca in, x2 Alka Seltzer, and chased down with a couple of pro plus.

Berocca - because it does what it says on the tin
Alka Seltzer - Headache + sickness
Water - Rehydration (the reason for a pint)
Pro Plus - Wake you up.

Hey Rob,

You're still a wee infant

I don't drink a great deal now to be honest but a friend of ours split up with her long term fella after 8 years and she came over to stay for the weekend a coupe of weeks ago.

The 3 of us started on wine and beer and then I got the old cocktail shaker out, huge mistake!

Mrs Kentish headed for bed about 1pm and I stayed up with our mate making her and myself one cocktail after another. We got really p1ssed!

By 5am we decided to hit the sack and eventually surfaced about 11 am on Sunday morning.

I have never felt so ill, our mate had to drive home and she has a nice new 2ltr 206cc, so she dropped the roof and sobered up a bit in the fresh air.

Me, I didn't see her leave as I was too busy with my head in a toilet!

I checked out the bottles and we drank, loads!

I've been really off alcohol for the past 2 weeks but managed a beer last night
