Just looking for what any of this means? Tried google without much success.
Long history of heart problems but first ECG I have actually got my hands on.

Atrial flutter.

ETA. The rest of it looks fairly ordinary. Have you had this long? The ambulance crew who left you the ecg should have left you better informed tbh.

Its one of my folks. They have heart failure (s3 or s4 I would say). But this is the first ECG they / I have physically been given to keep.

Paramedics said they were giving a copy so can give to heart doctor (which god knows when next appointment will be) as its abnormal but gave no other info. A&E doctor looked at it and did not seem to show any interest.

I have been asked to find out what I means... its just a load of squiggles to me!

Cheers its like walking through treacle trying to get info from the GP etc. The last "urgent" referral took nearly 1 year after multiple cancellations. Post this there have been 3 trips to A&E... GP seems useless and just says the wait times are very long. Not really much we can do kind of seems like they are just leaving it to run its course but zero support for someone with what is now very limited physical abilities due to lack of breath etc.

The wellue monitor has a pc app that analyzes 24 hours of ecg data and highlights anomalies, it helped me get a diagnosis and treatment when my gp was very disinterested and doing his best to fob me off.
After presenting the results I got a referral and the cardiologist spotted the problem straight away.

Atrial flutter with 3:1 block

Is this is something they are known to suffer with? What's the context to the ECG?

You relative needs to see a doctor. They may need blood thinning mediation to prevent a stroke +/- further intervention from a cardiologist (heart doctor).

Thanks guys. Pacemaker required then. Already on blood thinners. ECG taken after a fall. Cheers all much appreciated.
I think the main issue is getting to see the doctor its just a case of wait and wait each time months goes by but at least I can now tell them this info cheers.

It may be that this is now chronic and medically treated rather than any intervention required. Difficult to say without knowing more.
However, this should be made very clear to you.
I’d push for a GP telephone call to discuss whether it’s being referred or not.
