Be a shame if they do, Todd left a perfectly good team to go to FHO for BSB and the Roads.
Shame all round obviously but fingers crossed it's just a rumour as it will remove two good riders from BSB but also another team gone.

According to Faye Ho, the rumours are just that.

Faye has put a lot into the team, sidecars and solos and I do wonder quite how sustainable it is. I don't know a great deal about her bank balance however. I notice that Pete Hickman is running in his own PHR livery for testing at the moment, so maybe he is going his own way (unless I have missed a news flash and he had parted ways with FHO anyway). Hopefully though it is just a rumour and the team will carry on.

Don't think money is an Issue. Think the family still owns 3/4 of Maccu Casinos..

That may well help things along then! Didn't think it was money but never quite sure.

Just seen that Peter Hickman is on Swan Yamaha for the roads this year. No mention of his short circuit stuff though.

Isn't that just for the Supertwins though? FHO are down to do the NW200 and the TT with both Hickman and Tood on the BMW's, Todd for example has gone back to Padgett's for the smaller bike races.

Does anyone know how the German circuits compare the the British tracks? I remember watching the German superbike series back in the 90's on Eurosport and they were running some meetings on airfields that had been closed for the weekend.

Cadwell Park in general and Paddock Hill at Brands might be a bit of an eye opener for this German chap.

Some great circuits over there. Raced at a couple of them. None like Cadwell more like Oulton park and Brands

Rumour has it...... that they basically wanted her to bankroll it, step away from being the team principal and they would get someone else to do it.

Ilya Mikhalchik was Michael van der Mark's factory BMW replacement for 9 races in World Superbikes in 2022 during one of MVDM's many injury breaks. Best finish in WSBK was an 8th. MVDM's best result in 2022 was also an 8th. Ilya was 3rd in last years World Endurance Championship, team mate Markus Reiterberger and Sylvain Guintoli on BMWs.

So along with the German IDM Championship win he's no stranger to BMW and has been a few places for variety.

Ah, that's why I recognise the name, endurance racing! Thanks smile

Who is the "they" in this situation? Is it her team that she set up, or has she been bankrolling an existing operation and put her name on it? If it's the former that seems like a bizarre situation if they're telling her to ps off from her own operation.

The new setup is reported to have a lot of the FHO mechanics.

This is all a bit weird, i saw the release and comments that said Hickman and Todd were riding for FHO in 2025 and now they are not.
This is all a bit strange for me, it's almost like something occurred between the announcement towards the end of last year and now and either they couldn't wait to get away or Faye Ho couldn't wait to get shot of them both.

very strange

Its strange af. I can only assume Faye had a meeting and said something like 'money is tight this season boys' and likely Pete wasn't having it and organised another setup to be as competitive as possible.
