Key fob

Sure this has been asked before, but need a new key fob for my Alfa anyone with suggestions?

Local lock smith wants £120, previously used a guy in the Lake District via post, but he is no longer operating. Ebay advertise reprogramming from £25?

Any recommendations?

I've used this place in Leicester https://www.remotefobcentre.com/ - between £40-£60 to repair. Normally they replace the fob with a new one, cut the blade and transfer the chip/electronics over. Another PH'er used them and was happy.

Another place I've used is Keystation in Maldon, Essex.

That's 'refurbing' an existing key ie salvaging your existing electronics & programming, not replacing a lost one from scratch. It's not clear which the OP was referring to...

It just stopped working. I do have a second key but this too is not reliable, goes through batteries really quickly

How can £735 be justified.

Not buying a Lexus.
