Suspected BSI fault on Citroen C3. No side front side lights
Discussion
I have a 2012 C3 and I do all my own mechanics. I did a thermostat last week and since then I have no front sidelights . I disconnected the battery for the thermostat and re connected to find all lights and functions work but for the front side lights only . rear ones work . With my Icarsoft scanner I can see the column switch is calling for the lights , there is no or minimal voltage at the lights. I have searched the internet and done various methods of BSI reboots etc , but still no sidelights. I can see a fault in the BSI on the scanner , it thinks the nearside bulb has blown but Its not that all new bulbs and connections checked , its low or no voltage at the plugs. The sidelights do not go through a fuse , the rears are working . I have cleared all codes . We have had this car from new and I have replaced the battery a couple of times , seems I reconnected this time and sent the BSI all unnecessary . There are no wiring changes for a thermostat and of course I have been back over my work.
I think I am near the end of BSI resets without success. I have four weeks till the MOT and this car is a great family workhorse .
I want to set up a separate power supply with switch to the front side lights so , I can turn them on in the car . There are a few such set ups on Ebay with a relay and switch aimed at additional lights.
My two questions are , any good recommendations for that type of little harness with relays and fuse etc ? Second question is are there any with a remote switch so I don't have to wire through the bulkhead ?
Also any other suggestions , maybe constant on side lights, a bit like DRL'S ?
Thanks for reading this far .

Hey @cliffords, did you find the fault in the end or just build a workaround?
Our NSF sidelight circuit has failed out of the blue. Bulb is fine, no volts to the terminals, all other lamps working well and there is no advertised fuse for the sidelights in the manuals. So I assume it is a bad wire (recent thermostat & heater hose replacements could have aggravated this) or it's bonkers ECU's havin a laugh... :-o
All ideas gratefully received :-)

Under the bonnet next to the battery is a fuse box with some large fuses and three big multi connectors/ plugs. It all looked good in there until I disconnected the plugs one by one to find water had got in and some of the pins had rotted out . New second hand until from e bay ,replaced all worked.
All looked fine and clean until I unplugged them one by one ,two were damaged. Think it was called engine bay fuse board.
