Domain Spoof Spam!

Can't believe it - just registered a few domains with Register1 (hi Jamie) and I have received my first spoofed spam from the domain address in a record 30 minutes!!!!
Scary stuff....
Might well find if its a generic enough domain, that its been receiving email for ages, just there was never a domain to accept it, either that, or it used to be owned by someone else and it was deleted.
Still strange ;(
Alas the registries do sell new domain registration info to companies for a large price.
Rest assured we NEVER pass out details to anyone!

Jamie - I have no doubt you are personally responsible for this spam
Joking aside I think your answer about it being spammed/previously registered before I registered it is correct as all the spam comes to a particular user name.Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
