Hello, struggling to get a 2005 monaro 5.7 through the emissions and need a mad sensor , any idea as I can’t find one anywhere .

The 2004 5.7s in the US were cable throttle I think, over here the 5.7s were originally cable (if the original 'smoother' style of CV8) then the facelift CV8s (with nostrils, the squarer front bumper, twin exit exhausts) were eletronic throttle.

The MAFs may be different, I'm not sure.

Are you sure it's the Maf ? Have you owned the car long , if you are new to them , they are never good when it comes to mots unless they have a good rag first and the cats are hot , see if any other like owners are near you and if they can help , I had a faulty maf on a scooby for a while and was still getting through mots , 02 sensors can be an issue too

And what were the full results of the emissions test, and why do you think it's the MAF ?
