Can someone help, every time i put my foot on the brakes the drivers side brake caliper makes a knocking noise, ive taken the wheel off and there is a little bit of play on the engine side brake pad which i think is traveling forward and hitting the caliper? the clips all seem to be in good order and has only had its c service 8 weeks since at which time they have applied copper grease to the brake caliper area, could this be making thing move to easily? has anyone got any ideas as i dont want to damage the clips by bending them! by the way the braking its self is fine.
thanks chaps

sure it's not the anti roll bar tie-bar link thing rattling?

My mintext pads move about inside the calliper a wee bit but I've grown used to it. Brakes work fine

TADTS This is common and nothing to worry about. The pads will move in the calipers. You can buy anti-rattle pads that fit in the gap between the end of the pads and the caliper slot.
