Wife’s key bits below:

High up enough to make loading a baby in seat easy.
30 grand ish.
Attractive visually.
CarPlay and decent stereo/nvh.
Fit a buggy and bags in the boot.

Been looking at original Macan GTS as seems to be about the funnest thing in that bracket. But now looking at Lexus RX and cheaper bits and bobs as not sure it’s worth it for a car to throw stuff in and inevitably get scratch and bashed at the supermarket.

It’ll mostly be short journeys so I assume I don’t want anything diesel. Economy not a massive consideration as long as it’s over about 20mpg. Briefly had a look at bentaygas with a bit of budget creep but a W12 shuttle is just obscene for this purpose.

Also had a look at that new Dacia but I think I’d soon get sick of the quality of it so looking at used.

Had my name down for a LC last year when I thought they were going to be 60 grand. Balked when they rang and asked for 85.

I know it’s very vague but I’m sure I’ll end up with a good list to look at!

X3 M40i ? Seems like a great all-rounder and £30k buys a decent example.
