Nick that is what i wanted.
I want it because i am seeing what a head light conversion looks like on a V8S.

Welcome. DOnt think anyone has done a light conversion on a V8s. Dont think that would look quite right. Get saving quick - you need to be in a TVR before you are 20!
Hi nick, sorry I missed CREAM, booked but it was my daughters birthday and I am moving house this Friday so with all that on I thought I should really stay at home, your car certainly stands out ( as does mine I guess) are you going to the Ace Cafe meet next week ? would like to say hello and get a couple of photo's of the cars together.

Hi Nick, wish I did know the paint code, see below, I am having real difficulty finding someone to help with the body repair. It would seem there is only a 10% chance of the paint matching which also means a 90% chance of failure!!!! My handbook says it is "flip flop blue" believe it or not!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope to see you next Friday

Hi Barrie
Is the paint code not written in your engine bay?
The paint code is in both the engine bay and the black hand book but I and other are still finding it difficult the fully understand the exact code from the vin number, I understand from the factory that only two cars have been painted this colour and that they would not carry out the work unless a full respray is agreed due the matching problems, however the car was at APM's last week for MOT and Andy thinks he may have someone how could do the patch repair, I would prefer the total respray idea but dont think my insurance company will play ball, however Craig cerb450 is trying on my behalf to get written confirmation of the lack of paint match which will give me some ammunition.

Ouch, sory to see that, regards paint codes mine has no code.Gold purple. That's all it says.
Yours is not the same as mine, I think the bases might be, yours seems to have a blue hue whereas mine is a purple pink. Paul at Auste said he could match most paint, though with only a few in this shade it is going to be hard work.

I thought that the paint code was on the plate on the NSF of the inner wing, and the paint code was the code next the "BODY CODE" on this plate...(it is on mine)....I dont know if this is any different on yours or not?

is that just flakeing paint?
or did you hit something?
SERTAIN PAINT supliers can analise the paint and mix it to match from a sample, have you tried phoning the factory they may suply the paint pre mixed,i know they will for the flip petrol colord tuscans, a close guarded seecret mix . but yours should be a common base white with a color pearl added.pearls are usualy quite forgiving when it comes to patching in,
you have a natural line just above the repair to
" mask" the repair, or you could be real daring and color change the lower half.
there was a white /purple one at CREAM she looked real nice as she turned in the sun,
