Met unable to dismiss officers who have vetting removed
Discussion
This seems like an interesting topic, why can't the Met Police use Performance Management to dismiss employee's like any other organisation? The case bought by the Sgt whose vetted status removed due to allegations (with no subsequent charges) seems almost a seperate topic to the main issue at hand.

They seem to be suggesting the only way is to removed vetted status then dismiss them. Odd?
