It was me and a fair cop. Pulled out to overtake another car and zap radar guy right in view. Wasn’t much I could do about my already gathered speed. Sure enough today the letter arrived 75 in a 60 zone. Bang on the threshold for a SAC. So place your bets now. Points or course?

On the limit's in the limit, SAC if you haven't had one I'd imagine.

I have not done one in 5 or so years, last one was a smart motorway one, 67 in a 60, also a fair cop.

Side note, Gwent Police do not fk around that one was on the door matt within 36 hours. This one was issued some 8 days later arriving with me some 4 days later!

It's three years between SAC ,so that bits ok. However isn't it 75 or above equals, fine and points . That's my understanding.

Can't you argue that the speed was appropriate for the conditions?

1mph means everything on PH!
FWIW you are bang on 10% + 9 so no reason to think you won’t be offered a course if eligible

OP states Gwent in a later post, commending them on their efficient NIP delivery process.

Gwent was the one for 5/6 years ago and they are indeed very efficient.
