Fancied a bit of sun so booked 5 nights in Palma last week of February, never been before so looking for things to do and restaurant recommendations.

Is it worth getting a car? Anything else worth seeing in the island?

Walk. There are great hikes over the Tramuntana.

No guarantee of sun in February, might be nice, might be cold and wet. I wouldn’t have a hire car either as parking is a nightmare and they’re starting to introduce low emission areas which only permit holding locals can drive into.

If you’re going to stay somewhere else such as Can Pastilla, which is close, but not “in” Palma, then yes, it’s worth having a car. The usuall recommended to do if you’ve not been before is the Tren de Soller. You can easily spend a couple of days in Palma itself, loads to see and walk around the old town. Bellver castle etc etc.

Didn’t hire a car when we went just jumped on buses, main terminus is in the middle of Palma

Went to Portals marina for an evening and Soller for a day, Palma is a lovely city to walk around.
