Currently in Portugal on the Algarve, Loose plan is to return early April via Gibraltar and Andorra. The latter is not a problem as I've been before!

Travelling in a Boxer camper, is it allowed to overnight on carparks in Gibraltar?
'er indoors is desperate to see the apes, tells me that I am no substitute so I have to try and make this happen.

Or is it easier and better to overnight on the Spanish side of the border and walk in?

I don’t know about camper vans in Gibraltar, but there is camper parking on the Spanish side within Marina Alcadeisa, in La Línea. A very short walk to the boarder with Gib.

Taking any vehicle over the border is a proper PITA these days, let alone a campervan.

Agree with the above post - park up in the marina at La Linea and walk over.

Beyond the big circular road around the rock, theres not much driving in Gib, its crowded. Leave it in La Linea

One place i'd recommend to stay in Andorra is just below the very top of the mountain at Port D'Envalira close to Hotel Pic Maia. There is a huge flat area with loads of other campers but there are amazing views down the valley.

An absolutely amazing place to wake up.

That Andorra spot could be pretty chilly in early April, it is well over 2000 meters altitude. I stopped there for a night in May ‘23 and there was still plenty of snow about. Agree, lovely view.
