Sorry for a no doubt silly question, but the Ctek range doesn’t make much sense to me!

For a 2016 Cali T, i have an existing Ctek MXS 3.8, would that be ok to use as a trickle charger?

I have the magnetic adaptor which connects to the part near the rear plate…on the Ctek box it says it can maintenance charge up to 130Ah and a google search suggests the Cali T battery is 95Ah, so should be powerful enough?

Only reason I ask is I’ve seen some adaptors say not to be used with Ctek One or CS free etc. etc.

Thanks in advance.

Doesn't. the car come with it's own one? If not then the CTEK will be fine but just check whether an anti gravity battery has been fitted or not.

The CS Free can push sufficient current to melt Ctek's standard adapter wires for trickle charging because of the adaptive boost functionality.
