The second question in the head to head had five words with unique patterns the answers being

Toxic
Angst
Young
Depth
Equal

We just cannot see what these .patterns may ber

Is it nothing rhymes , change a lettter????

Any ideas

There’s no connection between those words. Each were shown with 3 letters missing. With the two remaining letters there was only one word in English that it could be. Eg. - Q - - L can only be EQUAL.
