Octane editor Robert Coucher borrowed Mr Orange for the Dunhill Motorities Tour earlier this year. Write-up in Octane includes comment from Gordon Murray on the Sagaris:
"The car tries a bit too hard. I doubt the styling will stand the test of time in the way that the E-Type has, an equally outrageous machine when launched. I really like the original Griffith but the Sagaris would benefit from some restraint."

So he'd prefer a T350 then...

How did he think it drove/went/handled etc.?

Robert Coucher loved the car.

He got ribbed about how leery it is though!

Gordon Murray didn't drive it AFAIK.

I don't think you can truly appreciate the Sagaris and know what it's abut until you've driven one.

The feeling for the need for 'restraint' lessens after you've driven the car

I've always said that Peter Wheeler didn't design this car in his dreams, it was designed in one of his nightmares its styling is so unlike any other TVR.

Course all IMO

This could be no other car than a TVR . . . could it?

....and the Sagaris is one of the few cars you can photograph from the side and see the badge on the back...
