Is there a simple way to stop the automatic folding mirrors from folding when locking the car?
I want to use an outdoor car cover with mirror pockets but can't find a way to lock the car and disable the auto fold

I have the same situation, but never found a proper solution, so I just tuck the mirror pockets around the folded mirrors! Sub-optimal but it works OK.

Is there not something on the mirror control on the right side of the dashboard?

The only controls for the mirrors on the dash is the switch to select which mirror adjusts, the joystick to adjust and the button to manually retract the mirrors
This manual retract button will only retract, it does not switch off retraction and doesn't act too reverse the function when locking the car - if the mirrors are manually in when locked they stay in rather than powering out

The only thing I could think of but haven't tried is pulling the fuse for the mirrors to see if that disabled it

While waiting for a new actuator to allow my passenger mirror to open, I pulled the fuse which left both mirrors extended. Only drawback was it also removed the ability to adjust the mirror view

I have an aftermarket HU (Android tablet) with CAN interfaces to make the audio controls work like factory & provide a bunch of other features I don't really use. One of these is a soft button I click on to stop the mirrors retracting when locking the car. It must "talk" to the ECU over CAN, so that means it should be an option via a scan tool, if you could find find the right one & know where to look.

Edit: I looked thru every menu on my Foxwell NT710 scanner (connected to the A110) & couldn't find anything relating to the mirrors, sorry.
