Manheim Lease Return - Alloy Cost
Discussion
I've got a Mazda going back to Santander with Manheim doing the inspection. There's an alloy with has scuffs along the hub / spoke and a dent out of one of the corners. I'm getting a quote to get it repaired but fear it might be a new alloy which is required.
So a few things.
Does a chunk taken out of the alloy mean that the whole alloy needs replacing?
Has anyone ever had Manheim take a car back and get a price for a replacement alloy or fix? Arval publish their prices and it looks like it would be £60 for a repair or OEM if they have to replace it but I can't get a price list from Santander / Manheim they say
"Our logistics providers use a mobile application software which uses a matrix of pricing to create inspection quotes. Where parts pricing is
required, their application interfaces with a parts pricing provider called Thatcham, who provide a number of automotive, parts and pricing solutions across the automobile and repair network."
Anyone got a price from using this at all?
Thanks everyone
