WTF is going on with my back

I've ignored it for a while (standard bloke time circa 9-12 months) but I asked my partner to take a photo of my back this morning - which is getting increasingly painful - what's going on?? Don't really like using Dr'e time - but should I?

I had something very similar looking to the upper one in your pic, I went to the Docs about something else on my back that turned out to be nothing, but when she saw this Mole she was concerned and sent a pic off to Dermatology and I got an appointment back stating "Urgent possible Cancer" that was quite alarming.. anyway I saw the Dermatologist who had a look and declared He didnt think it was a Melanoma but since it was quite large (17mm) I should have it taken off which I did about 2 weeks later (the whole process was about a Month (well impressed TBH)) and after about a Fortnight, Histology came back and said it was Benign so that was a relief, anyway the Crux of this is go to the Docs its more than likely Benign ..
