Clare.

Or, rather, the memory of our love when I was much, much younger and the world was very different. Didn't see her for 30 years and when we did meet again (10 years ago) there was nothing there from me, nothing. She greeted me like we'd been apart 30 days. Conflicting at the time. The power of memory!

Not including Mrs DS, it’s my two cats.

They’re sisters and we got them at 11 years old - their previous owner had passed away and because they were old cats nobody wanted them and it was at the stage of them being put down. They’re the best behaved and most devoted loveable things I could ever want. I’d rather spend two weeks sat in my house with them than go on holiday.

I used to have a big daft Boxer dog. I inherited when my mum passed away.

He was 13 and half which was good going for a Boxer - the usually live to age 8 max.

I had to make that difficult decision as all pet owners do.

I had to take the week off work afterwards.

My wife. And it will always remain like that.

I know that’s the most boring answer to others, but you asked! I could have said ambrosia custard, cycling, or trees, but I’d be lying as they’re not my greatest love, they’re just things I really enjoy.

I'm 52 with two children, a current Mrs Dundarach and two former ones!

I'm still hoping I've not yet had my greatest love.

So sweet, and I almost teared up after reading that last sentence <3

This little angel is, together with my kids, the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I've had dogs before and loved them all, but there's just something about little Sally. In difficult times she's my reason for living.

Was it your first love, and will it be your last? Music from the future, or music from the past ?

Behind the obvious answers of wife/kids is this Muppet. Noticed he was a bit slow when out for a run today, after doing a 10k with me yesterday, so feeling a little emotional as he's slowing down a little. He'll be 9 in a few months. Not sure how much more running we'll get to do together. Had him since he was 8 weeks old I think. Done so much together too. My best buddy.

To live without my music
Would be impossible to do.
In this world of troubles,
My music pulls me through.
