Have they much higher to go or is the seller getting out at the right time ? Its not the first RS500 he has had and I see a few Fords on his driveway .
Still a wonderful looking creation even after all those years .

I agree that they look good and I accept that I'm out of tune with the market, but I simply don't get these prices. A Ford-nut friend had a new one of these (and a lovely RS1600) back in the day and whilst it was quite impressive to drive, at the time, I simply struggle when comparing them with 'modern' sports saloons such as E63s, M5, M3, Alfa Quadrifoglio etc. etc..

I know, I know, it's me wink

Values seem just nuts on Fast Fords these days and show no sign of dropping yet.

Maybe in another decade 60s ones might as those of us from that era stop driving for whatever reason - who knows?

A motor trader mate of mine bought a slightly scruffy black RS500 for £5K back in the early 90s. I bet he wishes he still had it!

Nobody is spending £150k on that on eBay, the only way that will sell is through a proper auction

Hate to say this, but what an atrocious looking car, that's not aged well at all.
