Anyone a Copart member?
Discussion
Copart will rarely sell an engine on it's own via their salvage auction platform... but they have two breaker yards at York and Inverkething but I suspect if in running order, that sort of engine wont even be cold by the time it's removed and winging its way to Eastern Europe. Via Copart you could potentially buy a damaged / salvage car complete but you'd need to be a member to bid and buy.
Not really sure what the VRN / last digits request is all about though...
Tried eBay?

Yes, was thinking of buying a whole written off car from copart for the donor engine.
It's the OM642 / Engine # 642850...
The engines on ebay seem to be about £3k, as a working car is only £3-8k, I imagine that on copart a cat S car should be much less...
I can't see any info on copart as a non member, I would guess that as a first time buyer I will pay some hefty fees but I have no idea what these would be. Just trying to work out if it's worth doing this was.
So my question for someone who is a copart member;
Please could you get the reg (or engine number) , and "Total Cost Estimate Calculator:" including delivery to DT1 1ST for these 2 cars

It's £100 for the annual membership. The fees are going to be based on the sale price. My membership lapsed but from memory a £2k sale will have around £3-400 in fees.
For transport you can get quotes via Shiply, or approach a few providers directly. Usually there's a few local to each Copart site, due to them getting a steady stream of work that way.

The total cost depends on the sale price, since there is a % of it which goes to fees. But assuming (for example) a sale price of £1000Yes, was thinking of buying a whole written off car from copart for the donor engine.
