Am I being a bit trainspotterish here or could we do with a more formal "owners' club"?

Thought provoked by the Silverstone day where a club might have really helped to "make it".

I agree with you, might be worth it as more demand now.
Also might help with group buys on things like pads etc.

I agree - I used to organise events for the Mitsubishi Lancer Register (SE Region) such as treasure hunts, run for fun, photo & pub meets. Prepared to offer help in a similar fashion for a Noble Club.

Membership guff could include the mythical Nobility Sword logo ! - Maybe a regular newsletter / magazine -,owners cars calender - occassional factory visit blah blah....

Can I be in your gang too?

I think Obes should be president. (of the club, not the USA!!)

We could all get a real sword type thing like you got a badge when you joined the "Dennis the Menace" fan club

I'm sure all the members of the North Essex gang would be interested.

I dont participate as much as the 'hardcore' on here (dont take that the wrong way lads!), but ive got a few willing designers available to knock up some funky identity/merchandise/website designs..let me know if you need a hand.

Its a great idea and im sure Simon would be willing to add to starting a full on owners club....Simon??

Drop me a email if you fancy getting a email discussion going chaps.... benb@bandlondon.co.uk

i think the us guys have a great site (nobleforums.com) design wise...

if you set up a formal owners club you will at least have the coolest name of all - 'nobility'.

Count me in. I'm happy to run the East Yorkshire branch but with only me as a member(as far as i know )the meetings will be a bit quiet.

Trust obes to kill what looked like an interesting thread

Why did you have to start talking about dosh?

I reckon about £20 to £30?

Well my Dennis the meance membership IIRC was about £2.50 and you got a fluffy badge and spy glasses and a Gnasher lapel badge too. Oh, and "Lifetime" membership.

I think that would be a good starting point but it may not pay for the Porsche style lorry!

The e-mail discussion group thing has been done and did not last. (either that or I got evicted and never told!! )

Depending what was on offer but also bearing in mind there will be faaar fewer members than some other clubs so costs may need to be spread a little thicker.

Hmmm....lets use £50 as a starting point - higher or lower ? (in best Bruce Forsythe voice !!) May need to add a few 00's if we want that trailer though !!

I'am in, don't know how many are in the Bristol area, be good to hook up. Good to have a monthly meet or at least a Christmas doo.
