Apologies for the poor picture of the car behind the railings.

This little car looks to be a Rover Metro "Scout" according to what is written on it.

I can never remember these being on the road, does anyone know if these were officially released or is it some sort of prototype car?

It appears to have been abandoned outside the large house I walk past every day.

Oddities like this intrigue me now I'm getting older!

I guess it’s this one: https://classics.honestjohn.co.uk/news/auction-new...

I saw it a few years ago at the Stondon Museum - incidentally, one of the weirdest little car museums I’ve ever been to.

Shame to see it looking so neglected.

Thanks for the info. It certainly is a shame it's being left to rot.

I have encountered it before, and always thought it looked like the illegitimate child of a Landrover Freelander and a Matra Rancho.

Was it the styling buck for the Discovery 1?
