Looking for an automatic with a decent boot size, preferably SUV. Wife would prefer not too big. We're replacing our 2011 Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec Estate that we've had for 7 years. Kids at primary/secondary and getting bigger!

Would prefer to have a chunk of change from 15k but that is our max.

I've been looking at:
Mazda CX3
Mazda CX30
BMW X1
Hyandai Tucson - these don't seem to hang around for long

Today I saw an MG HS 2021 1.5 T-GDI Excite 5dr DCT 22k miles for £14.8k that seemed a good deal.

I've been researching reliability and age vs mileage but it's a minefield and would appreciate some input!

Cheers.

If the kids are getting bigger then get something Tucson/Kuga sized.

Take a good look at the DS7 these are good value with a proven drivetrain:

We looked at these as they seem ridiculous value for money.

Too far to go for a test drive at the time unfortunately.

Any good ZX10R NIN?

They're a good car, i'm always impressed when I jump in one especially when you consider the cost.
