Brake & Clutch Pedal Rubbers

Is the best way to replace the pedal rubbers by removing the pedal box cover.
I’ve tried warming them up & fitting from the footwell with no success

If you take the cover off then you could even take the pedals out if you need more access to fit the new rubbers.
