I was going to say I preferred Simple Minds' Sons & Fascination to their most popular album, so I googled SM most popular albums to see what was at the top thinking it would be something recent, and it was a 'best of' so I scrolled down to see where S&F was and saw 'show 47 others'! Admittedly some were live, compilation etc but I remember when they had only done five albums and that's counting S&F and SFC as two. Shocker.
S&F was no5 in the chart, so I'm pleased to say it's one of there more popular ones. I'm on my fourth copy (two vinyl, two CD)

The Black Dahlia Murder's most well-liked album is probably Nocturnal, although people seem to think Ritual is is a masterpiece too. Personally, I think Miasma is their best; it's raw and super honest, has the catchment tracks and the heaviest riffs, it's a banger from start to finish.

Isn’t Tommy “more popular than Quadrophenia”?
I never listen to Tommy but in my opinion Quadrophenia is the best album ever made anywhere in the world!
