Another CF problem
Discussion
Well, there was a (well-known) software issue with the D70 originally. In raw mode the software couldn't do the Maths properly and always undersetimated the remaining capacity and number of shots. Obviously, there can be all sorts of glitches from the camera end
Is it this type of problem?
Alternatively, has a 2Gb card been accidently badged incorrectly as a 4Gb - I suppose that's not impossible.

It's a Canon 1DmkIIs.
And Martin's battleships sinks slowly in the West
Tell him to try Lexar instead; from what I hear it's a SanDisk thing.
Maybe Canon will do a recall.... And then the Clud will be singing:
'It's all gone quiet over there...
'It's all gone quiet over there...
'It's all gone quiet, all gone quiet
All gone quiet over there!'

You really should stop hanging around with 406, you're starting to sound like him now Martin.
I try to rise above it but each time you just drag me straight back down
To summarise, it's not the name on your camera that counts but what pictures you get with it. Some of my gallery shots were taken with a 3.2Mp compact.

Oy stop it, I cant help being a Nikonphile. You wait till I come over to Spain with the D70 and D100. It will be 80-400 Vr's at 10 paces, and a shoot out of your favourite "FLOWERS"

A friend of mine has bought a Scandisk Extreme 3, 4 gig CF card. The problem he has is the camera only thinks it's a 2 gig card. Any ideas anyone?
Some older cameras (like my Canon D30) only support FAT16 and will only see 2GB on a 4GB card. More recent models can access the full 4GB. Something to check before you buy...
