Front splitter

For those of you who have added a front splitter, which brand did you go with, and why? Did you do side skirts as well? Thinking of a front splitter and lip only.

Have you had any problems with speedhumps?

I went for Life110 splitter, on lowered suspension.

Lots of scraping of speed bumps in France where they tend to be more aggressive but very little problem in UK especially now I'm better at angling the car when necessary.

I'm a lot less stressed about it all now the underside of the splitter is well scarred. No-one knows what it looks like but me! I had it PPF'd but it only protects from the lightest scrapes, but I did it more for the visible parts of the splitter.

No side-skirts - just an aesthetic choice.

I have the Life110 one. At the time it was the only one available that I knew of. I also have the Life110 side skirts and lip spoiler. I'd say the front and side are cosmetic really but I did feel the spoiler added a little extra stability under hard track braking. No issue with speed humps btw, and this is with AST track suspension so it's lowered quite a bit

Last Summer...

I have the BDA racing front lip spoiler fitted along with the Life110 carbon rear lip. I was a bit paranoid about a carbon fiber front splitter, so opted for the less expensive GRP one from BDA and had it wrapped in carbon effect. It looks fine.
I'm also running ASTs so have had a couple of wincing moments over aggressive speed bumps - but at least I could buy a second one from BDA if the worst happened and still have spare change v's the cost of a CF equivalent.
