Whatever you do don't listen to their cover of "Fat bottomed Girls", Freddie would be turning in his grave.....

The song has been "officially" announced today...

I'm worried that it's instantly forgettable, but I am usually completely wrong with guessing how songs will do in Eurovision so maybe it will do well.

We won't be watching this year after last year where the family show became some homo erotic soft porn fest. We like to watch with our daughter who is now 9, but last year was at best adult, at worst, fairly grotesque. Shame.

I remember getting fairly weirded out by Ireland's entry last year and I'm a damn sight older than 9! At first i thought it was going to be a Lordi-esque bit of fun, but it got very dark very quickly.

Isn't this all political nowadays anyway?

Aren't Europe still punishing us for Brexit by trying to ignore us?

We will probably get NIL POIR again!

Its being held in an arena 5 minutes from my apartment, which also happens to be on the main road to the arena...I suspect that week is going to be carnage in the city!

That's probably the most autotuned song I've ever heard.

Too much girlie head wobbling and far too much auto tune.

Crikey. With all of those different tempos, key changes and musical styles, it's like they've tried to cram an entire West End musical into three minutes.

But the song could be a great ESC entry, because it's distinctive and catchy. I think it might grow on a lot of people.

Currently on The One Show

Good grief, me and the Missus just looked at each other in silence. Switched the TV off and sent the bairn to bed.

Still looking forward to the 17th May though, already marked in the calendar

The song seems to be three songs in one, and a bit of a racket… the video is all over the place and goodness knows how they’ll do it on stage.

Given that certainty, we my as well enter a song called 'fk the EU!' biggrin
They'll be too busy to hate us because they've suddenly got to find 700 billion euros from nowhere.

I normally despise the freakshow pile of st that Eurovision has become. But this is actually the first UK entry I've liked for a long time. The video helps a lot!
