Would definitely be interested. After writing off my Vantage last year I cancelled my AMOC membership but now that we have a DB12 coming - would certainly like to do this
Excellent, please head over to AstonOwners.com to find the full details. We will be publishing the secure link for the advance booking on Friday 7th of March. It will be exclusive for exactly two weeks and then the whole event will go on general sale to anyone,.There is a joining fee, but it's less than a 1/4 of a tank of fuel, so it's a bargain.

Excuse my ignorance but Aston Owners isn’t anything whatsoever to so with AMOC but an “ alternative “ isn’t it ?
I'd argue it's a superior alternative: Down to earth
We organise lots of stuff
We help you fix your motor
We can supply parts superior to OEM at lower prices
Lots more, but don't take my word for it. Head on over, take a look at the public pages and make your own decision of its worth a 1/4 of a tank of gas to join.
We will be at the NEC https://www.necrestorationshow.com/ come and say hello.

I did look at the website but couldn't see particularly a South East "local " area and seems to be geared to older cars ?
Am sure you're far more down to earth though !
I joined Steve and a load of others on the weekend Wales tour last year, had an absolute blast. Everyone was great and definitely not restricted older cars, mainly VH tbh. It was well worth the jo8feom Essex and would join again this year except I'll be on a different tour at that time.

Just done the proper booking for IOM as well, looking forwards to it (for the next 18 months!)
So pleased you enjoyed. I'm only running a 1 day event this year. But that has already grown into a meal the night before also as that was what everyone wanted. We are also running a 16 day trip round Europe on last 2 weeks of June. I will do some sort of blog as we go.

Thanks for the education.

Recent chatter has been very much DB6 and the 7.0 Litre Virage Turbo. But I assure you it is a very good mix of new and old. Lots from people who want to do their own fault fixing and asking for guidance. But we are seeking to grow it and make it exactly what everyone wants. Not stuffy, down to earth, sensible priced activities ans events and a spread of activities and events to suit all tastes. A one stop shop for all things Aston.
I have an AM6 Vantage Roadster and would say it’s the best forum out there.
Very much looking forward to the Snowdonia day next month and getting to meet some of the people.
If there’s not a lot of discussion about a particular model that’s a great opportunity to do some posting and share your experience and tips.

It certainly is and if your an Aston Tribe person you will truly have found your tribe over there for all things Aston. Particularly if you want tech support (free) and you want to get out and about in your Aston. Very much looking forward to the Snowdonia day next month and getting to meet some of the people.

Anyone can volunteer to organise a local, national or international event. I have several events running this year and that is just me and we are always looking for motivated individuals to organise stuff. If you have something you want to do, we can help you organise stuff and support you in many ways.
Any event I run I also advertise on here and often post them into the many Aston Facebook groups.

You could always be our East Anglia Rep?
That's a good offer and 10 years ago I might have taken you up on it. From being a TVRCC RO I founded PH East Anglia in 2004 with another PHer, so have rather 'done' car show organising now; happy just to sign up to others now

I feel you have missed the point. My fault of course. Our whole ethos is you facilitate for an area, not run it and do all the work. Think of it as a mentoring role. You do what you want, cars shows appeal to some, kinetic events appeal to others. For some it is touring etc.
One group ran a Dyno day not so long ago. Couple Vanquish guys now strut round like Peacocks boasting they have more power than Stock without doing anything.
I like drive out days and touring, so that what I organise along with a monthly pub meet. As meeting up with like minded souls is appealing to me.
