Audi A4, new brake discs rubbing on full lock!?
Discussion
Just changed discs and brake pads on my Audi A4 b8 8k5. Got all the right dims for discs and pads, installed them with no trouble.
Drives and brakes lovely, done 100+ miles so they're definitely all bedded in. But the one thing is when i go full lock left I hear a good rubbing sound. I've checked the backplate and is clear on full lock. When I jack the car up with it on full lock and spin the wheel it spins with no trouble at all. Seems to only happen with load on it.
Could this be dumb luck and some other part of my suspension system has packed up at the same time?
Worth mentioning, its mainly on the near side of the car when on full lock left but also happens a little on the far side when on full lock right.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I take everything apart again.
