Vauxhall Crossland Engine swap

Can anyone help me - I have a 2031 crossland with an engine that needs replacing - I can find engines from same year cars but the engine code numbers don’t match completely. The first 3 digits match but the rest are different - can I use this block if all the ancillaries are being kept from my car?

It's best to stick to exact same engine code unless you are positive you know what the differences are, there will be differences.

What caused such a modern engine to fail, have these the dreaded wet belt or timing chain issues?
